Abundant on and under rocks in the intertidal zone
where it feeds upon bivalves and dead mollusks. The dull black
shell is usually eroded and coated with coralline algae. Feeds upon bivalves and dead mollusks. Attains 1.3 inches, 30 mm. Red
Sea to Hawaii and the Tuamotus.
Formerly known as Morula granulata and Tenguella granulata. |
