ORANGE-MOUTH DRUPE

Abundant under rocks & dead coral at any depth where it preys upon mollusks.  White with some brown markings, spines aligned into axial ribs, aperture orange.  Shell often encrusted by coralline algae.  Attains 0.8  inch, 22 mm.  Madagascar to New Caledonia and Hawaii.  Formerly known as Drupella ochrostoma or Pascula ochrostoma.
