ELONGATE or CLUB MUREX

Rare in crevices on limestone or among coral rubble deeper than 50 feet.  White with, yellow, orange, or tan, sometime with a pink aperture.  Attains 4 inches, 100 mm.  Red Sea to Japan, Hawaii, and French Polynesia.
