BROWN-MOUTH DRUPE

Fairly common under rocks in shallow water where it preys upon bivalves.
The shell is broad, has a brown aperture, and may be be encrusted by
coralline algae. It is superficially similar to
Morula fuscoimbricata.
Attains 1 inch, 25 mm. South Africa to Hawaii and the
Society Islands. Formerly known as Morula foliacea.
