Makena, Maui, 3 feet, 16 mm

Uncommon under stones where it preys upon bivalves in shallow water, and rarely found west of Maui.  It has fragile varices, white, tan, or orange with brown blotches.  Attains 1 inch, 25 mm.  Endemic to Hawaii.  Long considered a slender form of Vitularia miliaris.
