COLUMNAR HORN
| Uncommon on algae-covered rock in shallow water.
Solid with spiral cords and scattered varices. Attains 1.8 inches, 40 mm. Red Sea to
Japan, Hawaii, and Pitcairn. Introduced to the East Mediterranean
via the Suez Canal. |
