ISLAND HORN   MAKA‘AHA

Common in sand under rocks in shallow water.  Stout with fine beaded spirals.  Attains 1 inch, 25 mm.  Red Sea to Japan, Hawaii, and French Polynesia; accidentally introduced to the Eastern Mediterranean.
