PUPPET HORN

Common in anaerobic sediment on reefs at any depth.  Inflated, glassy cream or brown, with numerous spiral and axial threads.  Attains 0.1 inch, 3 mm.  Red Sea to Japan, Hawaii, and Rapa Nui; Eastern Mediterranean.
