FALSE 'OPIHI 'Opihi awa
| Abundant on rocky shores in the splash zone. Two forms exist,
one with orderly ribs, the other with ribs of mixed length and width.
Unlike true 'opihi, this species was not eaten. Attains 0.7
inch, 20 mm. Endemic to Hawaii, formerly known as Siphonaria
normalis chirura. |
