DWARF PACIFIC CLUSTER WINK   PIPIPI ‘ĀKŌLEA IHILOA

Abundant under stones on rocky shores near freshwater seeps.  Thick white shell with variable brown spirals, coated with fuzzy tan periostracum.  Animals produce a green glow when disturbed. Attains 0.5 inch, 12 mm.  Central Indonesia to Japan, Hawaii, and the Marquesas.  Formerly known as Planaxis labiosa and Angiola zonata.  The Corded Vexilla occurs in the same habitat.
