WARTY SLUG

Common air-breathing slug that inhabits the splash zone of rocky coasts.  Nearly black in Hawaii while animals elsewhere may be lighter.  Exudes poisonous mucus.  Attains at least 2 inches.  French Polynesia and Hawaii.  Formerly known as Onchidium verruculatum.
