COLUMNAR AUGER
|
Fairly common at
any depth. Shell moderately slender, low curved ribs, grooves with
punctate spirals. Orange with white spirals & blotches.
Attains 3.8 inches, 96mm. Easily confused with, or a form of
Myurella nebulosa. Red Sea to Hawaii and French Polynesia.
Formerly known as Terebra columellaris. |
