FALSE TRIPHORID
| Uncommon under dead coral at scuba depths Short &
slender, three spiral keels, interspaces with axial threads, white with
irregular brown splashes. Attains 0.2 inch, 4 mm.
Viriola
incisa is larger and lacks axial threads in the interspaces. Endemic to
Hawaii. Formerly known as Viriola fallax. |
