COWRY

Uncommon in
caverns with red sponge deeper than 20 feet. It has small brown
dots along the base. Attains 1.2 inches, 30 mm. Known from
scattered locations including the Mascarenes, Philippines, Micronesia,
and Hawaii. Formerly known as Cypraea gaskoini. |
