MEXICAN ISABELLA COWRY

Live animals are rare under stones in shallow water.  Differs from Indo-Pacific Luria isabella, by having a tan marginal callus, more produced extremities, and tapered base.  Attains 2.4 inches, 60 mm.  Gulf of California to Panama and the Galapagos.  Formerly known as Cypraea isabellamexicana.
