HAWAIIAN CHICK-PEA COWRY

Rare in rubble or caverns deeper than 10 feet.  Most are found empty or in beach drift.  It is more inflated and has narrower tips than Cypraea mauiensisAttains 1 inch, 25 mm.  An endemic Hawaiian member of the P. cicercula complex.  Formely known as Cypraea cicercula.
