 BLACK-MARGIN HORN   PA‘ALIMA

Common on algal mat of shallow reefs and tidepools.  Stout and slightly inflated, spiral dashes and prominent blunt varices, pleated subsutural band.  Attains 0.7 inch, 15 mm.  South Africa to Okinawa, Hawaii, and Pitcairn.  Occurs together with the more slender Cerithium egenum.
