ZONED HORN
| Rare in Hawaii on algae on shallow reefs,
but common elsewhere.
Color and sculpture variable, with two prominent spiral cords with
triangular peaks on the last two whorls. Attains 1.1 inches, 27 mm.
East Africa to Japan, Samoa, and Hawaii. Superficially similar to
Cerithium
zebrum. |
