OCHRE-BANDED RISSO

Common under stones or rubble at any depth.  Flat whorls with fine axial ribs granulated by spiral grooves.  White with orange-brown spirals just above the suture.  Attains 4mm.  Red Sea to Hawaii and French Polynesia.  Formerly known as Rissoina miltozona.
