GRANULOSE RISSO

Common under stones or rubble in shallow water.  Glossy golden brown, with four whorls, three nodular spirals per whorl, the uppermost small, three cords on base.  Old shells fading to white.  Attains 0.1 inch, 2mm.  Endemic to Hawaii.  Formerly known as Merelina granulosa.
